New year, new food: vegetarian & vegan food
Image via Flickr user Gezellig GirlIt's a new year, and many people are making dietary changes, for weight loss or health reasons, or just to reset after the overindulgence of the holiday. This week, I'm listing events and resources related to some different ways of eating. Next up: going gluten-free. (Previously in this series: raw food events and resources, eating light and healthy, and going gluten-free.)
Going full vegan, or just meatless on Meatless Mondays? As a person who does not eat very much meat, I can confirm from experience that you don't have to sacrifice flavor and satisfaction when transitioning to this way of eating. But it does help to know a few tricks. The below calendar has cooking classes and other vegetarian and vegan events to help you on your meat-free way.
