Monday, March 15, 5pm: Mac & Cheese at The Tasting Room. "Each year, we team up with Beecher's Handmade Cheese to serve their hedonistic version of an old-time favorite, mac-n-cheese, which we pair with some wonderful wines. Join us every Monday at 5 p.m. until we run out. You can order it by itself, or try our mac-n-cheese wine flight yum!
Tuesday, March 16
- This is a weeknight special post, but in case you’re feeling peckish earlier in the day, why not check out the grand opening of Nettletown, the new restaurant from Chistina Choi (of Foraged and Found). “The diverse menu highlights wild and Pacific Northwest ingredients, providing a new approach to seasonal and healthy food.” They will be open from 11am-3:30pm on Tuesday-Friday and Brunch from 10am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday. - As to the evening, have you checked out a Dine Around Seattle restaurant yet? For the month of March, “Seattle area's finest restaurants offer 3-course dinners for a mere $30. This includes selections for appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Many of the restaurants also offer lunch for $15. Prices do not include beverage, tax and gratuity.”
Wednesday, March 17, 6:30pm: Vegetarians of Seattle Monthly Buffet. “This month, we travel to the Mediterranean, where our dinner will feature Greek delights, catered by the ever-popular Lucky Palate. Come to the Mount Baker Club to enjoy a delicious, flavorful multi-course meal, hear an insightful speech from our own president, Amanda, on key vegetarian topics, and meet lots of interesting people. Thursday, March 18, 6:30pm: Raw Food Panel. “Where will I get my proteins? Calcium? How will I feel? Will I get all the nutrients I need? How? What will I experience if I go all raw? Bring your hard hitting, always wondered questions about the raw foods diet and our panel of experts will address your needs to support you in your health food quest.
