Seattle Food World Help for Haiti

I've been seeing the tweets from local food folks offering help for Haiti. I thought it might be a good idea to round them up in one place. If you're heading out to eat or buy food, maybe check the list; you might be able to grab a bite and do some good all at once. I'll keep this updated as I see new events posted.

Also see the West Seattle Blog's list of fundraisers.

Also see Nancy Leson's list of restaurants with benefits - including some not listed below - here.

And here's a listing of some music shows that will benefit Haiti.

NEW! Saturday, February 27: Haitian Relief Dinner @ Whole Foods Roosevelt. 5:30pm to 8:30pm $15.00 per meal, $3 pints of beer & glasses of wine with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the Haitian Earthquake Relief Fund. We're serving up a delicious Haitian meal and local drinks to support the relief efforts of AmeriCares Disaster Relief organization. Our team members and several of our local partner vendors are volunteering their support for this amazing meal and important cause. Tonight's menu: Fried Plantains with Lime Sauce, Creole Jambalaya (Both Vegetarian & Meat), Red Rice & Beans, Spinach in Creamy Coconut Sauce, Traditional Haitian Cake, Sweet Iced Tea."
