RESOURCES
If you're looking for authentic ingredients, many local stores carry quality Italian products. Some Seattle favorites:
- Pacific Food Importers. (New expanded;website for the shop!) Great prices on Mediterranean products and cheeses.
- DeLaurenti's in the market carries imported food products and their wine cellar, they say, has "the most complete selection of Italian wines in the city."
- Salumi is a Seattle standby for its artisan cured meats. And home curing enthusiasts, take note! They will be running the Third Annual Salami Curing Contest as part of the Seattle Italian Festival!
