Here are some events - some in town, some a chance for a short trip outside Seattle - to learn more about the varieties of this wonderful food stuff, how to pair it with other foods or beverages, and how to make it at home.
Resources
- First stop must be Tami Parr’s website. She is the author of Artisan Cheese of the Pacific Northwest and maintains a calendar of PacNW cheese events.
- Local homebrew supplier The Cellar Homebrew also has cheesemaking supplies.
- The Washington State Cheesemakers Association has a listing of local cheesemakers.
- Also check out this episode of Sound Focus for an interview with Julie Steil of River Valley Ranch.
