Food, Identity & Health at NW African American Museum, September 22, 2011 (12)
At the end of September, the NW African American Museum held a special free community event called "Sharing Stories" that focused on food, identity and health. It was inspired by two exhibits at the museum, and INDIVISIBLE: African-Native American Lives in the Americas (which runs until 10/16) and Checking Our Pulse, which focused on health in the African American community and just wrapped up at the end of September. -
