• See Readers to Eaters, a local group dedicated to promoting food literacy from the ground up. They will be starting publishing books soon, and in the meantime, participate in many food literacy events.

• Seattle’s Child has a classes and camps listing that can be filtered by “cooking.”
• John Sarich, culinary director of Chateau Ste Michelle, has a special site CookingWithKids site with healthy kid cooking videos (see one to the right for example).

• FamilyFriendlyFood by Nurit offers up some real-world perspective on cooking for family.
• I learned about the summer Farm Tots & Farm Kids at South 47 Farms from Tea of Tea & Cookies on Twitter. Farm Tots are for those 5 & under to explore the farm with a parent or guardian. $7/kid
• If you are an educator, Beechers offers a special no-cost workshop for kids on healthy eating.
• Puget Sound area author Beth Sheresh has a book called Picture Yourself Cooking with Your Kids that aims to help you involve the little ones in the cooking process.
• Check out local author Matthew Amster-Burton's book Hungry Monkey, "a food-loving father's quest to raise an adventurous eater."
